One table, one cake: planning a gluten-free celebration
A simple guide to ordering and serving a gluten-free celebration cake so everyone can share the same dessert.

A celebration feels more generous when everybody can share the same cake. A little planning makes that possible without turning dessert into a complicated conversation.
Start with the whole table
Ask about dietary needs before you order. Gluten-free and lactose-free are different requirements, and allergies to nuts, eggs or other ingredients may need separate consideration. Sharing the full picture helps a baker give you clear, useful information.
At MISHA, every product is gluten-free and a lactose-free option can be requested. Ingredients and allergens are shown with each cake so you can make an informed choice.
Choose a cake that travels well
Cheesecakes and rich chocolate cakes are excellent celebration choices because they hold their shape and texture beautifully. Keep the cake chilled until shortly before serving, then use a clean, sharp knife for neat slices.
Use clean plates and serving utensils, especially if food containing gluten is also present. This small detail helps prevent crumbs from another dish reaching the gluten-free cake.
Make it feel effortless
There is no need to announce a gluten-free cake as a compromise. Put it in the centre, cut generous slices and let flavour do the talking. The goal is a relaxed table where nobody needs to ask which dessert is safe for them.
